ThrottleStop / cpu-not-supported
ThrottleStop CPU not supported
Two different complaints get the same Google query. Either FIVR says Not Available on an Intel chip (voltage locked), or someone searched ThrottleStop AMD and the window never listed their Ryzen cores. Neither is a corrupt ThrottleStop download.
Intel: FIVR locked
UncleWebb's line: most recent Intel CPUs removed CPU voltage control. Unlocked K and many mobile HX chips still undervolt. H-series after ~10th gen often cannot. Open FIVR. If the top of the window says Not Available, ThrottleStop undervolt is done. TPL, Speed Shift, turbo ratios, BD PROCHOT and the monitor still work. Confirm the exact SKU in CPU-Z before you fight the sliders - H vs HX is easy to mix up on a spec sheet.
ThrottleStop AMD
ThrottleStop AMD is not a hidden mode. The program talks to Intel MSRs. Ryzen users want AMD Ryzen Master, Universal x86 Tuning Utility (UXTU), or Ryzen Controller. Fan control on either vendor is a different app. Searching ThrottleStop AMD is common; the binary will not grow Zen support.
Quick CPU, Intel XTU and ThrottleStop fight if they all write voltages. Pick one. XTU is the usual leftover that makes a fresh ThrottleStop session look like "CPU not supported" because registers are already somewhere else.
